These Des Moines metro malls and stores have special Black Friday hours
Recently, malls and other retailers stayed open on Thanksgiving, moving toward a trend of giving shoppers a head start on Black Friday sales. But for the second straight year, that won't be the case for malls and major national retailers in the Des Moines metro area.
Here's everything shoppers need to know about Thanksgiving and Black Friday shopping hours for stores and malls in the Des Moines area.
Jordan Creek Town Center hours
- Normal mall hours: 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Saturday, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday.
- Black Friday (Nov. 26): 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
Merle Hay Mall hours
- Normal mall hours: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Saturday, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday.
- Black Friday and Saturday, Nov. 27: 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
Valley West Mall hours
- Normal mall hours: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday-Saturday, noon-6 p.m. Sunday.
- Black Friday: 9 a.m.-8 p.m.
- Saturday, Nov. 27: 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
When is Southridge Mall hours
- Normal mall hours: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Saturday, noon-6 p.m. Sunday.
- Black Friday: 8 a.m.-9 p.m.
Outlets of Des Moines hours
- Normal hours: 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday.
- Black Friday: 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
